Tree Removal

We have the skills and equipment to remove even the largest of trees from the smallest of places. Each tree is its own puzzle and we enjoy the challenge each one presents. Canopy Cops Tree Service can get the job done right!

Here at Canopy Cops, we specialize in lifting trees out of tight places with our 40 ton boom truck or grabbing and dismantling them with our Manitou 3060 rotating tele-handler. If we cannot reach it with either of these we also own a 64' self-propelled, 4 wheel steer man lift. While the lift does make us more competitive on some jobs, most of our work is still done by good old climbing! We are very skilled in rope access and when a crane cannot lift it we are happy to lower it out piece by piece.

Once the material is on the ground we use our miniature articulated loader to move things around without breaking our backs or damaging your yard. This machine has 14" turf tires that allow us to efficiently move heavy material out of your yard with minimal impact on your turf. This machine also allows us to feed 99% of the branches into our 18" chipper from the safety of a heated cab. Anything we don't chip gets hauled away in a dump trailer or dump truck as wood/logs.

Last, but certainly not least, we have invested heavily in mats and pads and plywood to protect your property from our work. While some of our equipment is very heavy we do our best to spread that weight out over as mush surface area as it takes to not negatively impact your property.

Why Remove a Tree?

Safety concerns: A tree with structural issues or severe damage poses a risk of falling and causing harm to people or property. Safely removing the tree would be the best option.

Diseased or dead trees: Removing diseased or dead trees prevents the spread of diseases to nearby healthy trees and eliminates potential hazards. (Such as removing Ash trees that are dying all over Wisconsin.) EAB and Oak Wilt.

Property damage prevention: Overgrown trees near buildings or power lines can damage structures and disrupt utilities during storms. Pruning or removal would be required. We will come and assess the situation and advise on the best route to take as tree care experts.

Landscape enhancement: Removing certain trees can improve the aesthetics of your property, allowing for better sunlight and space for new plantings.

Infestation control: Some trees can attract pests or harbor insects, and removing them helps prevent infestations that can impact nearby flora and fauna.

Lawn Maintenance: Infected trees can become messy for the lawn causing problems for grass and surrounding environments. Removing these trees can increase your enjoyment of your lawn.
